Chapter 4 Post interview analysis

Wow! that went way better than I had initially thought.

I had thought that I was as cool as a cucumber and had all the composure of a trussed up chicken ready for the oven! but no, as the gorgeously accented lady called my name, I tripped, what on you may ask?!, well I have no idea, some invisible trip wire, maybe it was the photocopy engineer setting a trap so he could come in and rescue me, mid fall (not all heroes wear capes you know), ah no, I’d already concluded that he didn’t actually wink at me did he, no it was definitely a facial tick… ok, ok, so I’m clumsy, I’ll own it! I don’t think the nice lady who was about to interview noticed though

Sorry back to the interview, well I was super pleased. It appears there are so many options open to me, they said that I can either be put forward for temporary positions and in most instances they tend to lead to permanent contracts or I can just keep temping until I find something I like. They have so many clients too which is just fab! I did fancy trying out working in a gaming company and also a bank – be nice to see which one suits me best.

I mentioned that as I was a Mummy, I would prefer reduced hours and the good news is, they do get these jobs in too – they are going to keep me posted on all new roles as they come in and they also told me to keep an eye on their facebook page.

I feel super excited !
